Workaholic? Yep, that’s me 🙋🏼For as long as I can remember, I’ve been convinced that if I wasn’t constantly working and available, everything would fall apart. I took pride in being the one who never switched off, but the truth is, it led to more burnouts than I’d like to admit 😬But recently, I did something I thought I’d never do - I took a holiday, and believe it or not, I left my laptop at home. No emails, no late night work sessions, just me and some much needed downtime. And guess what? The world didn’t end. Work was still there when I got back and everything was running smoothly!This experience was a wake up call. It turns out, switching off isn’t a sign of slacking, it’s a smart move for anyone who wants to stay sharp and avoid burnout 🫶🏼So here’s to all the fellow workaholics out there, take that break, leave the laptop behind, and trust that everything will be okay!
