There is nothing we can do to help you if you don't give us any information to work with. Please see the very first thread at the top of the forum, entitled "Technical Support Requests - Please read this before posting!" and provide the information requested there, including your DXDiag and vulkaninfo, and whether or not your game has any mods installed.

And yes, DrDump is where crashdumps for the game get uploaded for analysis.

please read as follows my version is 6.20(511811)
i have no 3rd party mods installed nor ever used any
once you get to the start menu and select a game save it gets to 99% and then as state earlier says x4 has stopped working trying to find a solution and then looks in DrDump amd then exits and nothing else appears
i have uninstalled and reinstalled but it still crashes
i have a gtx 4070 ti graphix card

Were you trying to upload directly to the Egosoft server, as that will not work for you. The advice in the linked Sticky post is to upload it to a reputable public fileshare site (some examples are given), and post the open public sharing link for it here. Have a look at the first post in this thread for an example of how it works.

It isn't that complex, honestly. Also you don't need to understand the text outputs from them or in-game dumpfiles; that is the job on our side.

DxDiag is just a tool that lists the situations and problems within your gaming system. Vulkan is a graphics system that the X4 game uses which is supplied within your graphics driver and updated with it. VulkanInfo is much the same function as a DxDiag but just for Vulkan and your graphics card. Neither give away sensitive personal information. Both can output a text version if you follow the advice on getting them but these are big files and so best uploaded to a fileshare site and just the open public-sharing links put in your posts here.

You might take some advice from someone a bit internet-savvy about selecting a fileshare site to use and maybe even to register an account for as they have many useful social and work applications even outside of gaming. It is still possible to get free fileshare services from reputable providers, even though the files may not stay on their site for more than a few days or so. That is usually enough if the devs want to download your evidence and investigate.
