The Texas Motorcycle Dealers Association is one of the strongest powersports dealer associations in America. The organization works tirelessly to support TX dealers, making sure they are up to date on legislation that impacts dealers, and working hard to prevent bad legislation from being enacted into law.Managing a powersports dealership is a lot of work, and each year there are always new laws and regulations that can trip a dealer up. If you are a powersports dealership in TX and you are not a member of the TMDA, then now is the time to sign up. Dues are extremely reasonable, and every year of membership easily pays for itself. Membership also gets you access to the annual conference, where guest speakers from various agencies are available to make sure that everyone understands the rules of the road. Today marks my one year as a part of the Ticket Tailor | Proud B Corp™ team…Anyone that knows me personally knows how much I talk about Ticket Tailor, my friends are always texting me “just bought a ticket from Ticket Tailor!!” and normally they are, when Reuben Jess sends me a text it’s normally a competitor with a very similar name and I have to think about whether to let him down lightly…but the thought is always there! I not only feel incredibly fortunate to be a part of the new sales team, but also to be a member of a company that's on such an impressive growth trajectory. And I can confidently say, they're doing it right. When I say "right," I don't just mean racking up investments and hitting metrics (although hitting metrics is definitely fun). What I mean is growing while supporting not only other small businesses and charities, but the planet as a whole. We can proudly say we're growing with the planet in mind, as a proud B Corp and carbon-neutral ticketing platform, donating 1p of every ticket sold.It's not because I struggle with small talk that I resort to talking about work... but because I genuinely love what Ticket Tailor represents. As a fairly recent graduate, I feel so grateful to be honestly excited about the company I work for.Anyway, there's no particular point to this post, and I might just be tooting my own horn or have drunk some serious Kool-Aid, but it feels like a good moment to reflect on my career so far and what's important to me! Just a small thought 23 🤔Life of a lottery ticket seller is a typical analogue of us humans. Lottery ticket seller has many lottery tickets with him. Out of this, one of the ticket is a lucky ticket and lottery seller is unable to find out this. He sells that lucky ticket to one of his customer with some marginal price advantage on that ticket.Here is the learning from our lottery ticket seller example 💭🤔All lottery tickets are opportunities in life to win. But there is hardly one ticket or life time opportunity to get super success in life. Finding that one lottery ticket is the toughest task.
